The parts Counter Salesman will perform various routine office duties regarding the parts department in support of the service location. Providing customer service, having attention to detail, flexibility, and innovation in resolving problems are a few qualities to have.
Basic responsibilities include:

- Generating customer invoices, quotes for service, body shop and customers.
- Database management.
- Coordinating warranty return process as well as manager part returns.
- Part ordering and relationship maintenance with multiple vendors.
- Pull pats to complete orders.
- Responsible for inventory and warehouse operations
- Coordinate shipment processes through UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Monitor shipments received.
- Establish price comparison studies and best option for purchasing parts.
- General clerical office duties.
- Inventory management for location.
- Update pricing daily.
- Knowledge of warranty and service orders; automotive terminology, manufacturers' parts.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organization and attention to detail skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Sales quoting and warranty experience.
- Warehouse experience.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
